The beyond lovable Tonight Show tv personality, Ross "the Intern" Mathews, said he met Gwyneth Paltrow at a fashion event in LA.

Ross said "She has the raunchiest sense of humor," he said. "I think we click because I can be quite dirty and filthy. Like I have the mouth of a sailor, and she really appreciates that."

"I was covering the Vanity Fair party, and she was walking down the red carpet and I said, 'Will you be my best friend?' And she said 'Yes!' And I gave her my email address and the next morning had an email from her. And we have emailed now for...it's been going five years.

And whenever she's in town, we get together and have dinner, lunch and I go visit her on set and I even went to London to hang out with her.

It's crazy... Well, we've been through everything like from relationships and breakups and our fathers died around the same time, and so we've run the gamut of sort of like emotions. And so it went from being sort of like a funny 'Oh my god, Gwyneth Paltrow's my friend!' to like she's someone I can talk to about this and that I can't really talk to a lot of people about. And we've really grown to relate and love each other, and it's wonderful."

I've always liked Gwyneth, she seems so grounded. And Ross has like the best attitude in Hollywood. He's just too sweet. It makes sense that they would get along so well.

David Beckham Scores and Blogs

Hello everyone,

I know, another blog so soon, but after my game yesterday I couldn’t wait to let you know how I felt.

It was incredible to finally start the game against D.C. United but to actually score a goal in my first proper home match was more than I could have hoped for, and an intensely amazing moment for me. On top of that I was handed the captain’s armband for the start of the game and I felt very proud to have been given that honour so early on in my career here. I definitely hope there are a few more of those!

I felt fit, so that was very encouraging and I was pleased to play a good hour of the game, but especially pleased that we won and we’re in the final of the SuperLiga. The fans were superb all night and I thought we deserved to go through, even though D.C. gave us a few problems and are a very strong team.

I’m now looking forward to our next game against Red Bull New York and hope to play a part in that. Hopefully, we can build on last night’s fantastic result.

"Idol: The Musical," billed as a satirical look at a troupe of Clay-mates from Ohio, opened two days ago at the 45th Street Theater, and promptly flopped like Clay's clammy hand on Kelly Ripa's mouth just a day later.

Andy Baldwin and Tessa Horst Breakup!

The engagement's off and you know the breakup will follow.

Last season's The Bachelor stars, Lt. Andy Baldwin and his chosen lady, social worker Tessa Horst, confirm to PEOPLE that they have broken their engagement but not their bond with each other.

"We are very much in love and committed to our relationship," the couple say in a statement. "With the possibility of reassignment to a new location, we decided it was not the ideal time for Tessa to uproot herself and move out [to Hawaii] right now. Our relationship continues to deepen, and we're very hopeful about our future together."

At the ABC party during the Television Critics Association press tour in late July, Baldwin, 30, told PEOPLE that the San Francisco-based Horst, 26, was due to move to Hawaii, where Baldwin is currently posted, at the end of that month.

Baldwin had selected Horst on the May 21 finale of their season on the matchmaking program. At the time, Horst told PEOPLE, "Andy brings light into any room and just lights up the room. His smile and his warmth just make him so great to be around."

About his station in Hawaii, Baldwin said, "I know that I have a year left and I may have the option of a three-year tour. There is also the option of a position in California. There is also a chance of me going back to finish my residency training. I am a firm believer that everything happened for a reason, and I am a firm believer that this happened in my life for a reason. Tessa came onto the show for a reason, and it is like a dream come true."

The next season of The Bachelor will begin on ABC Sept. 24.

Kevin Federline Wants Alli Sims To Testify In Britney Custody Battle

Britney Spears' cousin and only friend, Alli Sims, was partying it up at a house in the Hollywood Hills when she was approached by security representing Kevin Federsperm's lawyer.

At 2:30 in the a.m. on Sunday morning Alli was served legal papers requesting that she testify about Britney's parenting skills in K-Fed's custody battle.

Sims was leaving a party at a private home in the Hollywood Hills when she was served. "Alli was really shocked and covered her face. [She was] really distraught and said 'Oh my God.' "

Spears, who was also at the party, did not witness the serving of the papers, according to the observer.

The papers are a deposition subpoena sent by Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, compelling Sims to testify about Spears's parenting skills.

On Wednesday, Federline filed for primary custody of the couple's two sons, Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months.

We all know Federspmerm don't got no class, yo. But there was no reason for anyone to stalk Alli and serve her papers at 2:30 in the morning!

And I feel bad for Brit. Her only friend is going to have to testify against her. Sad. I hope Alli talks shit about K-Fed instead of Britney. It's just rude that Federsperm is going this route.
