Britney Spears Endangers Sons, Runs Red Light

The Popwreck approached the light slowly on Coldwater Canyon in Los Angeles. You then see Britney raise her cellphone to her face. It is unclear if she's texting or making a call. She then drives into the intersection as someone outside the car screams, "Red light, red light!" Britney then turns left onto Mulholland Drive, managing to miss oncoming traffic.

Alright now she's startin' to get scary. I understand you can't drive well when you have 20 pap-smears trying to take your picture so HIRE A DAMN DRIVER!

Blake Fielder-Civil Arrested

Amy Crackhouse's husband was put in the clink for possibly having a connection to a trial-fixing plot.... Heroin addicts are smart enough to pull that off? Obviously not. ;)

A distraught Amy Winehouse wept hysterically and screamed 'Baby, I love you' as husband Blake Fielder-Civil was arrested and led away by police officers over an alleged £200,000 trial-fixing plot.

Amid dramatic scenes Fielder-Civil, 25, was seized by eight plain clothes officers at the flat in Bow. As he was led away, the 24-year-old singer kissed and hugged him, sobbing: "Baby, I love you. Baby, I'll be fine.

He was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in connection with a trial due to start next week.

If convicted, the maximum sentence for the offence is life. Three other men were also arrested in connection with the plot at addresses in east London

Police had been tipped off about an alleged plot to stop a trial involving assault charges.

They are probing allegations that £200,000 would have been paid to a key witness to stay away from the case and refuse to give evidence.

There is no suggestion that Winehouse was involved in the alleged plot.

This could be the best thing to happen to Amy and hopefully get her life back on track!

Sources say K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, will go before L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon tomorrow morning, arguing that Britney has failed to respond in a timely manner when she is called for random drug testing. We're told Kaplan will ask to modify the existing custody order, giving Britney limited visitation rights.

Britney Spears Blackout Album is #2 on Billboard Charts

Despite early estimates claiming Britney Spears’ new album would take No. 1, Blackout didn't top the charts.

It sold roughly 290,0000 its first week, coming in at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 behind The Eagles’ latest disc Long Road Out of Eden, which moved 711,000 units, Billboard.com reports.

By comparison, Carrie Underwood, who owes her fame to a 2005 American Idol win, sold 527,000 copies of Carnival Ride in the week following its October 23 release.

Jive/Zomba had estimated Blackout would sell between 330,000-350,000 in its first week.

A judge has ordered that Britney must pay most of Kevin Federsperm's attorney fees to the tune of $120,000! The total of KFed's bills total around $160,000.

Court documents state that KFed is a "self employed as a performing artist" and that "he does not earn any income." Did they need to remind us that he doesn't earn any income? That's the result of being a "performing artist" that no one wants to see or hear at any point, ever.

Tom From Myspace is 37, Lied About His Age

MySpace, cofounder Tom Anderson has become a celebrity since the site launched in 2003 because he's every user's first "friend": when you join MySpace, your profile is automatically linked to his.

But it turns out that Tom may have a secret: his real age.

According to public documents obtained by NEWSWEEK—including professional license information, voter registration and utility and telephone service applications—Anderson is five years older than he claims. His online profile currently lists his age as 32, but it appears he was actually born on Nov. 8, 1970, meaning he'll turn 37 next week, not 33.

"I'm pretty bummed out about it," says 25-year-old Andrew Haynes, a Seattle comedian. "I've always taken MySpace with a grain of salt, but Tom was my first friend. It's kind of messed up that he lied to me."

I'm thankful this story came out. I almost haven't interviewed a single celebrity who was not lying about their age. I dunno why people think that celebrities aren't posers. Wake the fudge up, yo.

Oprah Winfrey Press Conference Abuse at Oprah's All-Girls School

Oprah held a press conference where she expressed her hurt upon discovering that abuse was taking place at her all-girls academy.

A former dorm matron appeared in court Monday to face a series of charges that she mistreated girls at Oprah Winfrey's $47 million South African school – while Oprah herself held a press conference declaring it "the most devastating experience of my life."

Tiny Makopo – a residential caregiver at Winfrey's Leadership Academy – did not have to enter a plea at the hearing but indicated she would plead not guilty to the charges.

Mokopo, wearing a black Adidas shirt and long green corduroy skirt, said she understood the charges against her – 13 counts of indecent assault, common assault, soliciting or enticing a minor through the commission of an indecent or immoral act and crimen inuria, which means verbal abuse.

Prosecutors asked for stringent bail conditions, noting that Mokopo allegedly abused seven victims, at least six of whom were 13-14 years old. Magistrate Thelma Simpson released Mokopo on 3,000 rand bail (about the equivalent of $450).

The magistrate ordered Mokopo to report weekly to the police station in Sebokeng, a township south of Johannesburg. She also forbid Mokopo from having any contact with staff or students at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy.

Mokopo left the courthouse in a car driven by one of her friends, avoiding a crowd of photographers waiting for her. Winfrey, who has called for justice in the case, said in a press conference Monday with South African police: "This has been one of the most devastating – if not the most devastating – experience of my entire life."

But, Winfrey added, "like all such experiences, there's always much to be gained, and I think there's a lot to be learned. We are moving forward to create a safe and open and receptive environment for the girls. And I'm also very grateful to their parents and their guardians and their caretakers for their continued trust and their support in me and also in the school.

"What I know is, is that no one – not the accused nor any persons – can destroy the dream that I have held and the dream that each girl continues to hold for herself at this school," she said.

Shia LaBeouf Drunk at Walgreens, Arrested For Stupidity

Shia LaBeouf was arrested for being a drunken fool Sunday night. The location of his bust was Walgreens. Embarassing.Chicago police say actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested at the Walgreens at 757 N. Michigan Av. around 2:30 a.m. Sunday after repeatedly refusing to leave the store.

A security guard repeatedly told LaBeouf that he wasn't welcome and had to leave because he appeared to be drunk, police said.

When the actor refused to leave, the security guard detained him and called police.

After he was arrested, LaBeouf was "very courteous and polite," and he posted bond before 7 a.m., police said.

LaBeouf, 21, of Glendale, Calif., was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing. He is scheduled to appear in court in Branch 29 on Nov. 28 at 9 a.m.
